B. Grant Fraser biography and fields of expertise:

            B. Grant Fraser, CPCU (Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter) has spent his 36 year career in the property and casualty reinsurance industry including underwriting, marketing and brokering treaty reinsurance on a domestic and international scale. He is a 1973 graduate of Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts with a degree in Economics and Business Administration.  He has worked for leading national and international insurance and reinsurance companies providing capacity and coverage for the very specialized market for lost or stolen Fine Art.  In concert with R. Alexander Boyle, he has successfully directed recovery activities related to stolen paintings in New York art world.  His breadth of experience provides an extremely important element in the coordination of the various legal firms, law enforcement agencies, auction houses, galleries, art dealers, private investigators and insurance and reinsurance company claims departments to recover client’s valuable works of art, while maintaining the strictest of confidentiality required in such enterprises.  This passion transcends to his vocation of recovery assistance to those who have had the unfortunate, heartbreaking experience of treasured items being lost or stolen.  In addition to recovery activities of the firm, Alexander Boyle & Associates also work with clients in other important facets of the trade and collection of Fine Art.  These include the ability to establish industry standard loss mitigation techniques, provide sophisticated and accurate appraisal, and to assist in evaluating and/or construction of security systems and execution of delicate arrangements for transportation.
